Arianne Diary Found Fragment

Email titled “For your collection” from the world of No Ordinary Trial: a redacted sender forwards a diary page found in a storage unit, “from the wife, I think.”

Handwritten diary page dated “Thurs. night”: the writer says police keep asking about her husband, who disappeared from his cell, and their missing daughters, and asks God for a sign.

The mystery deepens . . .

Attorney Levi Stur believes his day can’t get any worse when exposing a client’s perjury puts his career in jeopardy—until robed men appear through a glowing portal and kidnap his daughters. Becoming a middle-aged apprentice in the ruthless hidden world of magic is the only way to get them back.

Armed only with his wits, a gun, and a wand he can barely use, Levi will have to outsmart a powerful rogue wizard and stay steps ahead of supposed allies with devious plans of their own. What he doesn’t know is that his daughters’ kidnapping is only the opening move in a conspiracy that threatens not just his family, but the entire “ordinary” world.
